Installation instructions:
To install the MicroWINGS Screen Saver, simply unzip the file MWSS.ZIP
into your Windows, Windows for Workgroups, or Windows NT directory. You
will need to have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows' System
directory (ex: in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ ). The file VBRUN300.DLL can be
found on most BBS's and on CompuServe in most forums. In CompuServe's
FSFORUM, library 1, the files is called VBRUN3.ZIP and is about 231k in
size.
Once you have unzipped the files, just get into Windows and run the Control
Panel (usually under the MAIN or ACCESSORIES group of Program Manager).
Choose the Desktop icon. You should then see a dialog box where towards the
middle left side there is a small section where you can select the screen
saver to use and any options.
Scroll through the list until you see the saver named "MicroWINGS". Select
it and choose Setup. You will see the license/distribution message. Press
OK once you have read and understood the license. If you want an application
to join MicroWINGS (really a must-have-item for flight sim enthusiasts),
press the PrintApp button.
Press OK to continue into the setup/options form. The form should be self
explanatory, and you can press the Help button for more information such as
how to add *your own* flight simulation pictures to the screen saver.
Enjoy!
